Mike is a qualified investment and trust professional and joined Altair in 2020. His directorship portfolio is focused on those investing in publicly listed financial assets. As an investment professional, he spent the initial 20 years of his career managing financial assets for global private banks. In 2007, he moved into the fiduciary services industry and built a global investment gatekeeping business, which he evolved into a regulated fiduciary investment services business providing strategic advice to trustees on the suitability and selection of investment managers.
Mike’s experience in funds started as a fund analyst, and then into designing and building funds for the wealth management sector. Mike has sat on a variety of boards, including the licenced entities of investment, trust company and fund services businesses. He is a director on several Jersey funds with a strong record in good governance.
He also specialises through Altair Consulting in providing unique consultancy services to the fiduciary services and family office sector. Here he brings independence and a proven record in generating new revenue lines for fiduciary and fund businesses through innovative solutions, as well as reducing business risk and costs.
